Roof Overlay

When I was in contact with Andy with Bluebatmobile to get fog and taillight overlays made, he mentioned that a LOT of other forums are interested in a black roof overlay. He asked that I check to see if this is something we would be interested in.

I have no idea on pricing, you'd have to email him for that kind of thing at bluebatmobile@san.rr.com

Interested or not...?
Here are some pics from other cars...

Whoops voted NO when I meant to say MAYBE. Only issue with black to me is it adds to heat absorbtion. I hate being hot lol. But I would be interested to see what this would cost, long term issues if any, etc etc.

too bad it would make no sense in a Black fit (cosmetic wise).

My biggest concern for this is that it is a big sheet of vinyl and can be difficult to apply if you've never done it before. Also, it will be difficult to ensure that you cover all of it as the edges would look shoddy if it didn't tuck underneath the trim.

Get a white one

From what I've heard from other forums it's next to impossible to do by yourself but not terrible when you have help. That being said, I've never done it so I have no idea.

I think you would be better off getting your car two-toned at the A-B-&C-pillars.

I'm sure overlays for that would be possible as well.

The advantage to overlays over paint is that it's not permanent.

True, but i think the disadvantages out weigh the advantages.
