When I started the paid in full, I was surprised it was like poision..lol Funny how everyone was tripping over there-self to add there name to the buy now they are just dirt bags.

Same here. With the contact info. for Brian that was FIRST posted, messages left on the regular dealership phone number for the Parts Dept. took days for Brian to receive them, and they changed their Email system right after this GB went into effect. Since then, their new Email system works faster, Brian gets his messages, and if you call him on his cell# he either answers right away, or returns messages within minutes. Use Brian's cell number!

 

We are not buying cheap eBay arm rests from Singapore.

 

Just an FYI, ordered item by phone, paid for and been sent a receipt by mail. Brian advised that ETA will depend on how quickly orders are placed and paid for. Thank you for setting this all up. Alot of work on your end that I hope is appreciated...........

 

For those, like me, who have paid what we committed to pay in this GROUP BUY, we all have a charge on our credit cards of $270.00. We do not have the Arm Rest/Console that we paid for. Our consoles have not even been ordered from Japan. Why? Because of an interesting fact about human nature. In any situation that you can imagine, 25% of people who promise to do something never do it. Some die. Some get sick or have some other legitimate reason that prevents them from acting upon their promise. But human nature just has a way of making 25% of people basically insincere, and they say things that they do not mean. Instead of making an effort, they make excuses.

Here's another interesting fact. #1 & 2 on the list- the OP and his friend Peter who implemented this GB with the Honda dealer, have not paid. "Super Moderator TOOL" has not paid. And more than 1/2 of the other people on the list have not paid. If 25% of the people listed never pay, as I predict, that will still leave us with 30 people who did. 30 people is the number necessary to make the group buy possible at the promised price.

I did not organize this GB, but if I had organized it, this is what I would do to force the listed people to either "sh1t or get off the pot". I would personally PM all non-paid people with this message:

"You committed to this group buy but your payment has not been received. You may have changed your mind on the GB and forgot to make that known by removing yourself from the list. Payment must be received by July 11th. If the required number of 30 people have paid by that date, the order for all paid consoles will be placed with the manufacturer in Japan on July 14th. If the required 30 people have not paid by 7/11, the group buy will be terminated, and credit will be issued to all who have paid".

To be clear, these are MY words, not the words of the GB organizers, and not the words of Brian Khou at Norm Reeves Honda. I appreciate the efforts of everyone concerned in getting the GB accomplished this far. But unless you put a time limit on the program, those who have paid will still be waiting for their merchandise by the time Christmas rolls around.

 

Well, there you have the perfect example of the "25% in every crowd" that I wrote about in post 357. Unfortunately for those of us who ARE sincere and have paid, Tyler has the company of about nine more people who stay on the list but have no intention of actually paying.

This demonstrates the absolute necessity of setting a time limit. The insincere people of the world will make excuses and procrastinate for as long as other people let them.

 

I need to join Tyler on as person #8 that isn't going to pay.

When I have my bike in the fit, the tire occupies the same area as the arm rest.

Hey Guys, this is post #1 for me. Without having to read through all 17 pages of this thread, what GB deal do we have on the armrest? What web site might have more pics of it? (Other than Evasive Motorsports). When can we get them? Maybe I'll get in on it, but no firm promise at this time.
