Ok-- so I just back tracked and saw where some say no problem on the MT-- anyone got pics of it installed on the MT? Or personally own a MT with the console installed? Just trying to be sure before committing to alot of green.

Look at the pdf file a few posts back, from College Hills Honda. Installation is covered for AT & MT, except for Base models. It looks like it is safe for you to buy.

many people with the MT have the armrest. ricky to name one.

btw, what is the shipped price?

like manxman pointed out, it is confirmed on collegehillshonda.com that the console does not fit the base at. the reason for the issue, i believe (haven't verified), is because of the aux jack in the thing or whatever you know or maybe the power plug outlet charger area module node widget, idk.

Also, in a really old post on another thread, there was a problem with the Base MT shift boot not being able to fit the hole in the console.

The bezel surrounding the Shift level on the Base AT is a different size than the other three USA combos (S AT, S MT, B MT). The Base AT bezel/shifter has positions for low gears. IIRC, the Sport AT has the S position but fewer low gear positions. As a result, the Base AT bezel is more elliptical (longer along the axis of the vehicle) than the other bezels. The difference appears to be small so one could try cutting the center console if so motivated. The JDM console doesn't fit the Base AT out of the box. :mad:

Put me in for (1)-- Anyone know the cheapest place to get the aux jaxk piece (I have a base MT) and the addition aux power (cig lighter thingy)? Anyone have a DIY on adding these two to the base model?

at this point it looks like we'll reach the magic number of 30 sometime this week. in order to expedite things, Peter, AKA azncarbos, is gonna finalize our deal with the vendor tomorrow (monday), and will begin collecting payments at that time. we would like to have all the monies by the end of the week, just for the sole purpose of everyone getting their consoles ASAP... that way (if it's really gonna take 2 months) we can have them installed before the end of summer, BOOM!

yeah, my inlaws are in the philippines right now(they can probably get one there too), be back in a month, then they stop over at japan overnight to visit relatives, that was my original plan but then I figured the box is a little too big, so ill stick with the GB:D
