Thanks for the effort, I am thinking of organizing a group buy and install with some of the members here in Calgary. Might as well do a few cars and learn a bit along the way.

Just wondering if you took those pictures yet. I'd like to see what it looks like with the LED off.

sorry i caught a flu bug this last weekend and am barely getting over it, i'll post pics friday i promise, but the led's are not at all noticable when they are off, all you see is the blue tinted lense - it's really cool cuz noone expects them and when they turn on my passengers say "oh snap thats bad ass"
any way i'll post a pic today and if i can figure it out a video too

Sadly, the signal area would make my current convex mirrors a no go. One needs convex mirrors driving in this city and with all the blind spots on the Fit, the signal mirror set up is just not going to happen.

A smaller signal in the upper outside corner would be fine, but as is the set-up is not going to work for me.

THIS IS A WIDE ANGLE MIRROR on the drivers mirror, if you want i'll take a pic of both mirrors one on top of the other to show the angle you see with each, it took a bit getting used to it for me but i don't drive cars with those stick on 2" bubble mirrors (i think they are distracting) but now (1 monthe later) it's all i know (not the bubble thing but the wide angle thing)

Hmmmm....well perhaps a rethink is in order. Maybe I should just buy them as you have real world experience with the set up.

How much time does it take to install both the side marker lamps and the mirrors? I know you have both, although installed at different times. Do your side marker lights also function as signal lights?

Thanks for the photo as well, I now see it really is very wide and functional, unlike the stock mirror on the driver side.

yes side markers are also signals, they require cutting into the fenders, it's easy, you just have to have a template and a dremel, but you can tap into the front turn signal if you don't want to do side markers, BUT i'd do the side markers cuz on a brite day the mirror led's are hardly noticable - i'm sure that they are about as brite as some ford suv's that are equipped with them and you can judge off those, cuz at night mine are pretty bright (amber)

Hi, am still around. I have the template for JDM GE Fits, but I'm not sure if this will fit USDM GE Fits. Would you be kind enough to send me a pic of the shape of the side mirror glass? email me johnsonshn at yahoo dot com dot sg.

am still around, do you still want it without the heater? It's confirmed that I can't supply these mirrors with heaters anymore.
