Does anybody have pictures of the back side of the garnish? Just out of curiosity Id like to see what it looks like and how its held to the hatch.

What I would do is make a shaved version with the wiper placement. Make a FG mold of that. Then shave the wiper placement hole and make a mold of that one. Then I want to try an ingraved version. Not sure what it would say, maybe VTEC like the old school civic hatch backs JDM style. Or maybe Fit.

I would say just do the no emblem and no wiper backs because it seems like everyone that is in here wants the back of the car to say nothing so adding fit or vtec would defeat that.

I would be interested in an engraved version that said fit or honda. Someone on here (i believe) had the idea of spelling out Honda on this panel with lettering from an old accord. Sort of like the way Volvo is spelled out on the upper rear trunk like of the c70 and s40. I was planning on purchasing one of these and trying to pull that off.

I would most likely be doing those as custom orders since Im sure its not legal to parade trademark logos on after market products haha.

This is sort of an update. Im picking up materials to start manufacturing garnishes in a little bit. Fiberglass, gel coats, you know.. Just building stuff. Hopefully I can get my hands on the fit garnish from vtecfit1 and make a prototype.

Talking update

i just tracked the panel and ikona recieved it today (sorry it took so long i'm kinda broke and could only afford ground shipping) i've emailed him and hope to hear from him soon, he assured me in an email last week that he'd keep us all in the loop here in this thread

this is going to be a sick modification, so tell your fellow freakers about it and it'll light a fire under his ass if we can get more people interested
