pathfinder has sent out the gd hood damper(s) to me from singapore along with my original side mirror replacements (usdm) and some blue side mirrors with amber led's turn arrows built in to exact specs for the usdm market (thats why he had my mirrors to mock them up) here is his exact PM

Hey, it's been quite a while now. Finally i can send out the dampers and mirrors to you.

Packing list:
1) Your Original Mirrors
2) Blue Wide Angle Mirror With LED
3) Bonnet/Hood Dampers

that was two weeks ago and as of yesterday they hadn't arrived (it takes about two weeks to get packages to/from singapore, thats how long it took for the mirrors i sent him) i'll check my mail again tomorrow, they should be any day and i'll have them installed asap (the dampers are jdm and he wants me to see if they will work and if not report to him what needs to change to get them to!
we know it's a long shot but i'm willing to try

these dampers pathfinder sent me are really cool, i recieved them and installed them in 20 - 30 minutes with just a 10mm deep socket and they fit the USDM GD fit just fine!!! the open the hood 12" - 15" further than the factory prop rod does
i PM'd pathfinder to tell him they fit but he hasn't been on here since, so i don't think he's seen my PM yet
keep an eye here and i'm sure it won't be long till he jumps on this oppertunity.
also i will post pics this weekend if possible (computer issues)

I'll post picks on a few hours of them on my car, all i have is a cell phone for pics, but they should turn out ok, my internet at home is down, thats the delay

 

here are the pics of the dampers on my car - there are a left and a right, oh and they DO KICK ASS!! - no issues either, hood closes all the way and as you can see opens all the way with no obstruction from the prop rod, i kept the prop rod in stock location for windy days when checking the oil and such.

i'd just send pathfinder a PM to ask about these, i'm sure he has some kind of store, and seems like a real trustworthy person to deal with!!
