New Front Grill!

When fitcapo came over he asked me about debadgeing his front grill and also said it would be a perfect oppertunity to GI in a new product. So after reading around I heard quite a few say they would be interested in a front grill that is similar to the sport one from Honda. But with no badge. And what do you guys think? Im not certain I can replicate the honey comb pattern but Ill work on a few photoshops for the actual grill part.

I started by grinding down the top until its at a lower point then the rest of the grill. Then I put a special plastic repair bondo over it so that it sticks to the material the grill is made out of. Then I just put regular bondo over that and sculpted it into the masterpiece it is. I continued to follow the shape of the top of the grill to give the center some body instead of being one flat section. The flat section would look empty so it looks better IMO with the body line. Ill leave it up to you guys though to decide.

Fitcapo's will be customed the way he wants, then Ill continue with the prototype for a badgeless grill.

I have the regular grille but I just want the centerpiece gone, the piece with the big fat H on it. And what keyboard is that? Doesn't look like a synth, but it's nice keys ftw!

Thanks for adding your name on the list! Its a Yamaha YPG635. Great piano, I got it from guitar center and got it at 18% off since my neighbor works there and got me a great deal. Its a great piano. Has 501 diff voices. But could use more synth sounds.

Tomorrow I will be sanding it, reprimering it, and then painting it black. Then I will start creating the molds.

How about even simpler than that. Like the mesh Type-R grills from the 2000 Civics?

Well I have more pictures but need to get a few more sales until I have the materials for the molds. Im waiting on contact from fitcapo to see when hes going to come by to pick up his garnish and work out the grill.

I probobly will be doing an all mesh or honey comb mesh grill since its easier than doing the honey comb plastic.

That's exactly what I want (my last car was a 2000 Civic). If you come up with something similar to that, I'm in!

Ill look into the honeycomb mesh grill but say somebody were to send me their grill for the same job painted black. That would range around $99 dollars including paint.
