After I got my hands on a full assembled 08 fit sport tail gate I wanted to do more with it then just use it to test fit garnishes. So my side project the past 2 weeks is a carbon fiber interior trunk panel.

I wont say how far I am from completing it but I will say that I will have this project done pretty soon. I just wanted to see what do you guys think of it, and who would be interested in the panel once its done. Yes it will have an OEM fit, easy to install, will be made in 2x2 weeve carbon fiber or any weeve / color at customers expense (shouldnt be more than the cost of it in 2x2 weeve since I can get it all at pretty much the same price) and will be laminated in crystal clear resin that is protected against UV.

The price is around $200ish a panel give or take a few dollars for shipping. And I dont want to say any more information in fear that a larger company will run in and try to beat me to it like some did with the garnishes.

And for those waiting for 09 products and garnishes, do know that the time it takes me to do this does not effect the outcome of other products or projects. I have more than enough time on my hands for everything.

And lastley Ill have some updated pictures of the project Saturday that will make you guys so antsy, you wont be able to sleep.

If u start doing more interior piece im interested but rear cf panels and stock hatch is pointless

Ive been dragging my feet with this one because I didnt see much interest in it but Ill pick it up some to have things done with in the next 10 days and have some final pieces to show you guys. Like I said Im under the weather today but Im back at work tomorrow and Ill take pictures of what I have so far.

A carbon folding cargo cover would be sexy. The one-piece cargo covers just kinda suck.
