Gauge interest in Rear Diffuser

Hey guys i was just talking to my buddy who is a mold maker, and we were discussing about making a rear diffuser for the fit (GD3 models) these will be made out of Fiber Glass to start. I was wondering what price range people would be willing to pay for these. we were thinking about $300. these will be made to order once i have about 5 people signed up if we decide to make them. please sing up if your the least bit interested.

i will keep you updated.

i don't want to say i'm interested just yet because i don't know what it looks like.

it's a good idea though because i don't think any company out there makes a rear diffuser for the USDM fits.

good luck

wow im interested too. i donno how much it costs to make one.. but $150-200 is my interested level. but since it will be the only USDM rear diffuser on the market i would understand my ballpark is dirt cheap.. but everyone would buy! :-p EVERYONE!

Tagged for interest. I am looking for function -- something like the Noblesse piece, which smooths out a considerable portion of the underside of the car, will interest me. A 6-inch deep piece of fiberglass that looks good from above but does not actually do anything for the aerodynamics will not interest me.

i completely understand, and agree. we are thinking about making the piece about 2ft deep.

we may also be making a front splitter. mainly for the sport lip but if there is enough interest we may make molds for the base bumper and the j's lip. these will stick out about 2in and may go as deep as to the mid front tire range!

as we get closer to this stage ill make a new thread.

sweet. the fit seems to be lacking in the aerodynamic sector.

i hope this comes out before i go with the jdm stuff.
