But I have to ask - is there something wrong with the fitment on this one? It looks like it's not fully seated or something.

The only thing is it can use a little more 3M tape underneath. We installed that at night so it was hard to tell. But theres no way the grill is going to sit with an even edge all around and flush at the top since it has to lay ontop of the bumper. If a flusher fit needs to be achieved it can be grinded from underneath to remove some fiberglass so its thinner. However we dont do that, that woudl have to be done by your painter if you are ordering an unpainted one. Even if you order a painted one you can still shave the back since it wont affect the front. But thats all onto personal preferance. So we leave it with the 4 layers of glass.

Just a little note to add to this. Me and Ikona had put some double sided tape on the bottom there and it seemed to hold it down well I don't think we held pressure on it long enough and by the time I got home it came up and water had gotten on it. So the next morning I replaced the tape and actually ran out so I could have that stuck down better on there just have to get more tape. I have off tomorrow so I plan to redo it again. Will post up a pic when I am all done tomorrow.

Sole PM sent. And to everybody else heres an update. I have to ship them thursday because long story short. The shop we took the grills to have them painted.. They did a teerrrrible job. Some parts had no clear accept runs going across which shows me they rushed the job. So I spent quite some time sanding them down to repaint them MYSELF this time so I know it will come out great. Its my fault for bad judgement, they said they would guarantee a great job but they did a bad one. At least I didnt have to pay them for the blunders. But Im waking up early tomorrow so I can paint them in the morning and have them done before 10AM. Here are some pictures of the job they did. I dont have up close ones. Overall they looked great but when you looked up close, more dust then paint, and runs. Its just easier to repaint then sand and polish them.

The first picture ignore the carbon fiber logo. Thats a custom carbon fiber logo I made for an affiliate. But grills are behind it.

Just from the last pic I can see how bad of a job they did. Can see it on the red grill how dry it is and the dust in the paint.

At least you didn't have to pay for the horrible paint jobs. And I'm sure everyone receiving them will not complain about the time you take re painting them. I'd rather have a great quality product then a rushed one!
