Rear defuser GI

Rear defuser GI
I already know that somebody is suposadley working on a rear defuser for a fit but theres nothing wrong with having another style out right?
Now just to let you guys know, if we start one it wont be until closer to the end of the month because we don't want to do to much at once and end up having to either cancel some projects or work 20 hr days.
The way it would look is up to you guys, If anybody has any ideas, pictures of other models, or sketches you drew on a napkin one day post it up and we will fuse together the most popular ideas. You guys are the bosses, we just do the work.
And the price would be $250 - $300 for the panel. $400 painted, and then around $400 or a bit more if it were to be made from CF. No prices are final, again we cant price something that doesn't exist... yet...
So all I ask is 2 lists. One list for the 07/08 fit group list, and a 09+ list. The bigger list will have theirs made first. And also I need a list of people who would be willing to leave their fit here for a few days (if not over night just a few hrs a day) so that we can start construction near the end of this month.
Also the one to have their fit come by for the build will get his/hers for free.
And post pics of what you guys would like it to look like!

I'd lend you my car, but it's in Pennsylvania.
I'm interested in an '07 - '08 diffuser that is actually functional ala the Noblesse piece. It extends forward under the car for about 2 or 3 feet, completely covering the spare tire well. It also merges into the rear bumper all the way across the back of the car, thereby keeping the rear bumper from being a parachute.
If you're making something like that, I am extremely interested.
I'd also entertain the idea of a Mugen-style complete undertray, as long as it was reasonably easy to put on and off so I could change oil without a huge hassle.

A guy at the shop said if I do make one to either make one that covers at least 1/3rd the back of the under carriage and at the same time snap in place to the entire rear bumper so that you lose allot of drag.
I already planned it to be at least 3 ft long but I never really gave much thought as to covering the entire rear bumper which actually now sounds like a very good idea. Especially for those of you who want more MPG and acceleration. Many people thing aero modification is completely unnecessary but most dont know that depending on the curvature of the items and angle, they can reduce air drag by a whole bunch. Some have proven to reduce drag by %85 (Honda S2000 CR aero package)
But then again they have wind tunnels and million dollar computers to prove it... lol

Maybe you can incorperate some fins that are kinda long, that way maybe it would bring that "hiked-up" look of the USDM bumper down a bit. I think it would look pretty sweet!! I just don't know about how that would affect the aero of the car, but I'm sure it's better than the parashute we have now haha!!

Lol yeah I thought there would be a little more. Its no worries though! We have at least a month before I can start something. Either way I have a fit coming down to pick up some carbon fiber door panels in a few weeks and we will be measuring the under carriage for this.
