Rogue CARBON STEERING WHEEL INSERT interest

This past show season had kept me loaded up with work but it looks like things are starting to get back to normal and I'll try to finish up some projects that are in the works.
The first one is carbon steering wheel inserts for the GD3. I started off making molds for thin stick on covers for these parts, but I've always held back from stick on parts because I feel they rarely look like the the part is truly carbon. Though I am still working on stick on covers I would like to start with overlaid inserts as pictured. The way I would like to approach this is to offer either the full replacement parts or the overlaying service where owners send their part and after the work is finished the part is sent back. Working with core exchange hasn't worked well on other parts and tends to delay the process quite a lot.
So if the parts are sent in for overlay the price would be:
$70.00 for blank inserts (no buttons) including return shipping within the US.
$80.00 for button inserts including return shipping within the US.

If full replacement carbon overlaid parts are requested the price of the OEM pieces would be added to the overlay fee and a deposit covering the ordering of the pieces would be required. Right now it's looking like the pieces cost $22.00 each for non button, and $70.00 for button. These prices may be adjusted and will reflect the actual purchase price of the parts plus shipping

Please let me know if anyone is interested and the parts pictured will be posted for sale in my thread in the merchant area.
There are already a couple member that will be getting similar inserts.

Are these covers to replace/go over the like gray area on the steering wheel? If so, this would be awesome. I would be interested in that. Any luck with getting an image of it installed?

The part show is actually replaces the gray area, so the existing parts have to come out and new installed. I may do covers but don't really like going that route. The ones shown are the first set so no installed pics.

Sorry, this is the first set so no pics installed yet. I'm not sure of what the install will involve but looking at a diagram I would say the air bag needs to be removed to get to the insert mounting.
If anyone has input into doing this a brief how to would be appreciated.

Here is the insert with the buttons:

I'd really like to see these on a car so am giving a special offer for the first set to someone willing to look into the installation and post some pics. Please check out the 'merchant' thread.

Same price for carbon in 1x1, 2x2 and carbon kevlar in yellow, orange (out of stock right now) red and blue.
It will work best if you send your parts in for overlay unless you want replacement parts which will be new parts from the dealer.
Actual cost for just the overlay and return shipping is $70 for non-button and $80 with buttons.

Are there still any ideas on install? Maybe I'll get off my butt this weekend and take a look at my steering wheel to see.

i got the first set. sorry i didnt do a write up on them since my camera broke. there are just two star screws you have to take out and that pulls out the airbag. just disconnect the wiring and make sure the battery is unplugged. there are three screws for each side the take off and it is good to go.

sorry i cant get a picture of this but it looks so much better than the grey oem inserts.
