Hey Everyone,

I just got back from Taiwan doing a lot of research on what's available for Hondas and found a quality company called KMR that offers a wide selection of suspension parts for Hondas and other vehicles. We are introducing KMR chassis braces to the US market for the (07-08) Fit and (09+) Fit at very competitive pricing!

We are authorized vendors on Mazdas247.com and are currently expanding into other markets. This is purely a gauging interest thread.

If there is enough interest, we will order test sets for each model and test fit them on local Hondas to confirm proper fitment on US spec Fits. Once fitment is confirmed, we will begin offering parts to members!

Here are the parts available:

(07-08) Fit:

- Front Strut Bar (1) ---------------------GB Price: $145 SHIPPED -------Retail: $159
- 4 Point Front Sub-Frame Brace (2)----

Material is what exactly for the under pieces?

I wish companies would stop making tower bars with a single bolt on each side, this still allows some play even if tightened down to maximum. With 2 bolts on each side, that play pretty much disappears as there is not a single pivot point on each side. Better still would be to just make it without a pivot point whatsoever and have it welded solid.

The material is 6061 aluminum. Yes, many companies still make the single bolt downs. This is mainly due to the availability of mounting points. As far as tower bars go, this will eliminate tension and compression between the struts in one axis.

We have pricing already. Are we allowed to post pricing without becoming supporting vendors? Some forums require vendor status...I've contacted the admins but still waiting on reply. If not, I will post approximate pricing stat!

I see. Do we need the status to post pricing?

Hm. This I'm not entirely sure. I believe the Taiwan spec Fit is the same as the US. Is the JDM's only difference the RHD?

I like the idea of 6061 aluminum alloy being used for bracing, much stiffer than steel tubing but soaks up vibration instead of resonating like steel.... I am hoping these parts are priced right if they can be marketed for GD3s.

Thanks for the interest everyone! I assure you this is not just a teaser! We will post retail pricing and possible GB pricing tonight!

Also, is there any interest in the 1st gen Fit? Or is the majority modding the 2nd gen?

I'm pretty sure the AUDM fit is just RHD, and i think a different front end. Otherwise they are the same. Looking forward to the pricing, and I'm interested in first gen (GD3).

First gen pricing posted! 2nd gen pricing to come (still negotiating)! Also, with group buy, we will include further discounts depending on how many orders we get total!
