2019 LX 6 Speed

I pulled the trigger on a 2019 Honda Fit! Was able to get the color I wanted, black, and 6 speed manual! Downside is i have to wait for it to be delivered the dealership but I am stoked! I am a huge Honda fan and this is my first purchase as an adult. Any recommendations on aftermarket parts or anything?

I have a '15 black LX 6 spd…...I have replaced the toy-like shifter knob with a leather wrapped weighted knob, feels better. I put on a Tanabe Medalion Touring axleback...sounds great, not too loud at all. Window tint, a given down here in TN. I put on a rear anti-sway bar (Progress?), love it. Put on a "ram air intake" from a group buy/deal here some time ago, and K&N drop-in filters. Put in WeatherTech floorliners and window "visors", love 'em. Only thing left to do is get some 205's instead of the 185 Cooper tires that are on there...previous owner put a new set on right before I bought it, and apparently, these things wear really well, because this car is NOT babied. In the end, I have a car that to a casual observer/user (mmmm, say, my wife), feels no different than the day I bought it, but I can feel the (subtle) differences …. granted, it's always only gonna be a just a slick lil econobox, I don't kid myself , but, I find it quite fun to drive....and this will likely be the last chance in my lifetime to actually be able to buy a car that I want to buy with a stick. Maybe, maybe not, but ….am enjoying my time with it and am gonna run it into the ground, as I do all my vehicles. Have fun.....for the record, I would not call the above recommendations, just a statement as to what I've done.

Figure out what you want to do with the car before you start throwing money at parts. Drive it for a while and think about it. I lowered mine and love it, but my wife complains about the ride quality being more harsh than her car. My uncle put a short shifter on his WRX, and I hate the feel of it.

The one thing I'd suggest without reservation is the Progress rear bar- it increases rear roll stiffness, makes the car less prone to understeer, but doesn't cause a harsh ride like stiffer springs.

I always recommend doing missing features and creature comforts first. Then cosmetics. Once you've had it awhile and get a feel for the car you can start thinking about performance modifications.

Floor mats would be my first purchase. Then probably window tint & visors followed by clear bra.

After that do all your cosmetic stuff to make it your own. Shift knob, lights, plaatidip etc.

Once you have a feel for the car you can decide on modifications that compliment your driving habbits. Things like wider wheels, rear sway bar & strut tower braces go along way. Once you get your wheels and tires knocked out you can take measurements to figure out if you want to lower it or not. After that dress up engine bay, maybe throw on I/H/E if you're into that.

Most importantly, just have fun and enjoy it!

i did alot of the same mods on my '19 LX 6pd . the medalion axelback , AEM short ram intake and the progress rear swaybar and i saved my weighted
8 ball shiftknob from my previous car ( does shift smoother with the extra heft ) mileage doesn't seem to be effected . i upgraded the tires to BF Goodrich but
they are same size as stock , will go to 195/55 next time around .i also was able to get a hold of some chassis braces , 2 for the front subframe and 2 around back,
they do alot , increase the roll stiffness , car feels very solid . the fit's a real sleeper , nobody knows what a neat driver it is

lower it, leds, stereo system. etc... other than that everything else is a waste of money with zero gains as far as power goes. if your looking for power wait till the warrantees are up and swap the block. then youll see your car fly!
