Heres how to remove the wiper:

1)POP off the plastic cap on the base of the wiper arm from the outside. It just pops off.

2)You'll see a nut holding the arm to the motor; remove nut then remove arm.

3)Open hatch and remove all retaining clips holding inner plastic panel. There should only be a few.

4)Carefully pop off plastic panel. It may take some elbow grease since it's never been popped off before but it will happen.

5)Unplug wiper motor from plug

6)Unbolt the 3 nuts holding motor in place.

7)remove motor and insert whatever plug you have.

8)do everything in reverse now to re-assemble.

I saw that. But I need to know how to remove it without breaking anything.

Its really easy, just remove the wiper arm off the outside then open the hatch...take off the panel on the inside of the hatch (just pull on it and it will pop off) then there is 3 bolts that hold the motor for the wiper in the hatch...just take off the 3 bolts and all you have to do is unplug the wiper motor and take it out.....then go to ace hardware in the screw/bolt section and look for a plug to fill in the hole that is left when you take it out.

Question

I have a question about the rear wiper delete. Will there be more of a chance of your Fit getting broken into since you are removing an oem wiper and replacing with a simple plug?
Seems like people are just asking to get there cars stolen! It aint' nothing to take a flat head screw driver and pop out that plug.... with a nifty wire hanger you could easily access the rear truck latch.
Anyone else agree?

So you want to reduce the value of your car and remove one of the nicest features?

it can be put back on.... I RARELY use my rear wiper, and when I install my CF hatch the wiper will go bye bye.

I can totally understand the carbon fiber hatch, but just removing the rear wiper blade on the OEM hatch seems a little overboard. What is the gain? Maybe I am just missing something! I can almost bet everyone will ask you "did your wiper break?" That would get annoying after awhile .

Removing the rear wiper was one of the first things I did on my Jazz. 2 years later never even missed it once. Dump it now !! And it looks just fine it you fill the hole properly. People ask what is different about your car they never even notice it's gone.

i hate the wiper. sometimes i accidentally move that switch so the wiper starts to go. and since our hatch glass is a Dust attracter i get that wiped look on the window.

i dont use it either. it just collects dust.

Question and this may sound elementary;

Does the manufacture (Honda) have to put a rear windshield wiper on the back of the Fit by law?

If someone wants your car bad enough to try to break in it like that then they are gonna get it one way or another
