i need help i drove my car today then i took a nap for several hours then when i got in the car did not start, all my lights are working, i mean everything. but when i crank the key i dont here the sound dat goes ' tikikikiki' it doesnt seem to overturn so i jumpstarted the battery and still nuthin. pls help.

oh by the way FYI that on my way home i ran over a dead dog which i didnt see, there was a slight rattle underneath the car when i ran over it. but nuthin major.

Do you hear a single click when you crank the key?

If so then check fuse F1 80A (Under Hood)

 

nope not a single click!! nuthin at all
how do i know if the fuse is busted

 

Hum,
Check Fuse F3 50 Amps (Under hood) (Since you hear no click)

Hold the fuse against light and you shall see a filament connection both the sides.

If this filament is broken or looks burnt the fuse in no good

ok i looked under the hood on dat f3 50A, i think its the one with the key drawing and no.3 on the diagram, i checked out the fuse and i didnt see any damage or it lookin burnt. as a matter of fact when i unscrewed the fuse and pulled it out it the power and lights went off in side the car.
so............. any info ??
