anyone here know the air filter size for a K&N filter that would fit onto the t1r intake? thanks.

Since no one likes to help anyone on this forum...

I went with this filter because it gave me a little more clearance between the filter and the battery. My old t1R filter was rubbing the battery and developing a nasty hole. AND this was a lot cheaper!

I've had it for a couple years and still working great.

 

For the past 2 years I've used the:

K&N RF-1005

It appears to be the exact size, it's $40 on ebay.


Just like the t1r blue filter, however it does hit the battery post. It's not a hole but there is a dent.



I'm actually replacing it right now, part on order. It's not worth cleaning it as the cleaning kit is approx $20.


I might try the smaller one suggested above next, that 's a good idea.
