Lightbulb Cylinder #2 Misfire

I have 165K miles on my 08 Honda Fit and I have had no problems mechanically until recently.

A few months ago, my engine light came on and would periodically flash at me. My first thought was to change the spark plugs, wires and coil pack. That worked for a couple of weeks and the engine light returned. Unsure of what the problem might be, I brought it to the shop where they ran a compression test, cleaned my fuel injectors and ran the codes to find the problem. The code that appears is #2 Cylinder misfire.

Has anyone experienced a similar problem with their Fit? Any feedback is appreciated!

Have you tried valve adjustment? That was the only thing that improved my engine's performance. I still get a misfire here and there but at this point I figure it's because I'm driving in 110+ degrees of heat.

The valves are fine. They've checked it all out. The fuel injectors are the next on the list to replace. Hopefully that's what it is. When I accelerate, there is a lag and the engine seems sluggish. When you first start the car when the engine is cold from overnight, it spits and sputters trying to die out and sometimes will! Ugh...
