u seem to know alot about turbos.
sorry for the really stupid question?? hehe
ok here it goes... i just wanna know wat makes dat sound in those modified cars that goes rehhhhhhhhhhtetetetetetetet!!! i heard it on Tokyo Drift, dat sounds awesome!!!
does it come from supercharger or the turbocharger?
can an A/T sound like dat?
Its only for turbos. Its called an external wastegate. It mounted on the manifold and uses exhaust gases to generate boost. It lets extra exhaust gases out of the gate to keep boost pressure at your set limit. Externals are better than internals (mounted on the turbo) because less spiking, holds better, and its safer for the motor.

When the external wastegate is ran recirculated back into the exhaust its quiet. My Mx6 is running a Tial 38mm external gate. Mine is "dumped" that means that I have piping running off the wastegate and under my car. Just think something like open header from a 1 3/4 inch hole.

Sounds sexy!!!

Any car with an external gate can make the sound. As long as its dumped and not recirculated.

My guess is that all the turbo kits for the Fit will have internal wastegates. So that means no cool noises when hitting full boost; well besides the turbo spool.

You dont really need an external wastegate when running low boost like all the Fit turbo kits will be running.
Also, a downside of an external gate is its loud (also a plus) but with it being loud you cant hear if the motor is detonating. Detonating is NO GOOD.

the efficiency .. with max boost (10-11psi) ect2 and running like crazy 8.2L/100km
with 8psi of boost is like 7.2-7.5L/100km

u need a 101-105 octane rating
and need spare 15 amps fuse <-- incase fuse blown up on high PSI.. lol.. :P

With that power, how does your Fit handle? Are you going to purchase a LSD soon?

It's not good because it means your cylinder are firing out of order. It could cause some internal damage.

Are you using a gt25 from a stock s13 or an upgraded HKS or Topfuel turbo for the s13?

Did you have to remove the motor to install the kit or was it possible without removal?

Got any Vids?
