Fugly?
It still looks reminiscent of the GK, just newer. The hood lines are slightly more "car-like" i suppose. . . The interior looks interesting, the steering wheel looks more comfortable with the 2 spoke design instead of the 3. The LED running lights and tail lights are pretty, and I like that they did away with the pillar reflectors that we've been plasti-dipping on the GKs. The disk brakes on all 4 corners are an improvement. I hope they're still offering a 6-speed version, and the musings of a possible type-r package sound enticing.
I think that the car in the video is a good step forward in future design without alienating me as a 2019 owner. I'm glad I found my 2019 LX (no options) for what it is - a basic mode of transportation. Since Honda seems to have a major refresh issue with new designs - I would NOT touch a 2020 Fit LX (remember the 2015 model issues).
Initial feeling is I don't like that front hood 90 degree bent lip.
It looks aged. Really give the vehicle a 80's K-Car look.
Aerodynamics have made almost all cars for decades now, have a sloping hood.
The rest of the outside of the vehicle looks pretty familiar almost unchanged.
Also obviously absent are real gauges,
I think that is just probably the direction of the future. Eventually a needle point speedometer will be a thing of the past.

They have not even confirmed any iteration of the Fit is coming to the US at all...
I'd guess they're there to discourage people from trying to sit inside the car by leaving no room for your feet.
