Feel free to go hypothetical here -- I get that not everybody is not looking to buy a new car next year

I want the one they won't build for any market, with rear discs, the 1.5t from the Civic, and HFP suspension as standard. With a manual.
I know all the reasons it won't happen, and they make sense, but that's what I want. The closest thing in the Honda lineup is the Civic hatch, but it's bigger, heavier, more expensive, and even if the last one is inevitable, the first two I try hard to avoid.
Edit- I also don't want 18" wheels. The recent trend towards larger and larger wheels for fashion (because it's certainly not to fit race car sized brakes) hurts suspension performance and mileage. I know, you can get some of the weight back by using lightweight (and expensive) forged wheels, but if I'm going to pay for those, I'd rather pay less for 16" and save even more weight.

This poll is stupid and a waste of time. At this moment we do not know anything about what might or might not be coming to these shores. To ask people to vote on the complete unknown is ludicrous. Cancel this and redo it when we have the facts.
Well... if it's a waste of time now, it will still be a waste of time when we know everything in a few months, because it still won't change Honda's mind on anything. However, it could be an entertaining discussion, so as long as people contribute I'd like it to stay open.
My vote is no. If I were to buy another commuter hatchback today, I'd probably get a Civic HB with the 1.5T. It gets about the same MPG, much faster, better suspension, disc brakes all around and better aftermarket support while being almost as versatile with space. The price jump really isn't that much between a fit and a civic.
Oh dang I forgot to have an option in the poll for “I’d consider the HRV if Honda added a lower priced FWD trim ...”.
I totally meant to do that - because that’s what I think they’ll do if they do NOT bring some Fit variant here - but don’t think I can add it now.
But of course ... it’s all just us speculating at the moment

I'm not fond of the offerings that Honda has for the 4th gen Fit due to how bland the exterior styling is to me, interior doesn't seem too bad at all though! I could see myself going after another Fit if there was a decent performance variant or a luxury/hybrid model with either a manual transmission or even dual clutch transmission. If a "RS" version came state side with a revised L15B7 or L15BE with 3 pedals or a 7 speed DCT (and other supporting modifications from the parts bin) so it doesn't cost have a ridiculous maintenance cost, handles quite well for its class, doesn't completely out gun the Civic Si, then I'd be stoked .
In addition to that, I'm more of a minimal chrome with preferably color matched or black trim pieces as a substitute for said chrome trim. This new Fit missing a bit more of sporty vibe much like the Sport and RS trims had on previous generations.
Also, the HR-V... That's been a sad case for Honda at least in the US. Seeing the dated R18 in it is very disappointing when the Earth Dream engines like the L15B7 or L15BE were put in the European models. Along with that, it was NOT possible to get a manual transmission AND AWD. >.>

If they release a Fit Si or Type S/R then maybe.
We have... And if Ford didn't kill off the Fiesta and Focus STs, we might have gotten one.
I picked up a Kia Soul last week I have had Honda's since 1985 all the Preludes and all the Fits. The Soul EX designer package is a great replacement. Goodbye Honda.

I'd not buy a new Fit, I'm just too tall for the GK & assume the next generation will be similar.
But I'm totally happy with my GE and won't replace it unless: It is stolen/totaled or my folks want to sell their Corolla hatchback with 6MT in a few years and I buy from them.
Sixteen Hondas between myself and family since 1981. I want a Fit Hybrid, but I am not sure that the styling is growing on me. Maybe I should shop for a manual 2018 Sport. Just picked up a 2016 Accord V6 sedan about 8 weeks ago, and although it's heavy, it has a strong motor when the loud pedal is pushed. Probably the '07 Fit will soldier onward.
