09 fit limp mode

Yesterday driving back to NYC from upstate (roughly 100 miles) while trying to overtake an 18 wheeler my 09 automatic Honda fit went into limp mode. I did not hear any crunching, grinding or anything like that. The car downshifted into 2nd and revved up to about 5k and then all power to wheels dropped out and I essentially coasted for the remainder of the bridge until I could exit. Got the car towed to an auto shop to which no error codes were reported not could the mechanic find anything wrong with the transmission. Additionally I checked the transmission fluid and it was clean and has no burnt smell. Anyone have an idea of whats going on? Nervous about taking it back out on the highways.

Hey, I remember you! Unless you have a lost twin or are the luckiest guy ever.

It's coils and plugs. $135 for new coils and plugs from Amazon, an hour or two of your time and you'll be good to go.

I was moving my mouse over the text to look for any embedded links to malware sites to see if it was spam.
