Wheels

Considering how long I’ve had the Fit, I should have long ago put my winter tires on wheels so I can easily swap them myself. Where does one shop for wheels these days - still craigslist? Should I go with .. and which is cheapest ..

1. used Honda Fit alloys (2nd gen / GE)
2. Some other Honda 4 lug (would need to be exact size match bc i already own tires)
3. Steel
4. Aftermarket alloys

If you’re not bothered by aesthetics I’d just get whatever is cheapest from tire rack and call it a day.

I always shop craigslist for summer wheels and use OEM's for winter.

TireRack would be my go too for new wheels, CL for used.

If you are bothered by aesthetics, what is your preference? Is your car stock looking otherwise?

Cheapest would probably be used wheels or aftermarket steel wheels if you're putting snows on them. Basically any Honda wheel in the correct diameter and bolt pattern should work on the Fit.

Junkyards / parting out lots usually have plenty of 15" 4x100 Honda and Acura wheels. Just make sure they are the right offset.

Go-to place definitely Tire Rack. But craigslist is a viable option, our bolt pattern is super common and there's lots of deals to be found if you do enough searching. If you are performance minded try looking into lightweight wheels, if not just go for whatever you think looks best. Good luck!

Up here in Canada I just bought them from Costco.ca. Steel wheels, an exact fit other than the fact the plastic wheel covers won't go on.

I wanted steel wheels in 16 inch to swap tires with.. It seems they don't make them.

Discount Tires.

They have the best deals on tires and great selection on wheels. Including steel wheels.
