Unhappy My fit is scary!

I drove my Fit 1200km on snowed highway and it's so lite that it need to be driven very very gently... Compared to a civic. I've good winter tires. Scary! But I love it so much!!

I live in the same Quebec, with Toyo Garret Kx and I feel the same...
it's so square and lite... and the ABS is to sensitive in my opinion in
these conditions. But don't worry, summer is comming !!!

Yes, the lightness adds to the problems while driving in snow, but I never really had issues with my new Dunlop Winter Sports. I was passing most folks getting started from lights - while they were spinning wheels going nowhere I was spinning wheels and moving forward.

You need to modify your style a little for this car in snow. A little more anticipation, even more gentle on the inputs than even, say, a Civic coupe (my last car).

Red face My Fit is also scary

But on any road surface. Need more secure driving, not more speed or faster cornering.

Tuning suggestions welcome !

I figured out the best way to get around in the snow with my Fit.

I leave it in the driveway and drive my 4WD Element with Blizzaks.

oh my racing heart

An unexpected one foot drift of snow lifted my fit off the ground. While on top of the snow the fit skewed left and so when the wheels touched pavement it was a very busy couple of seconds steering left/right, left/right, left/right to get it rolling straight again. We have very deep ditches. Who needs aerobics to exercise the ol heart?
