Swap sub assembly of L13A and l15a vtec

Hi everyone, trust you all well. I'd really like some advise. I have a honda jazz L13A, the 8 SPARK plug iDsi. I need to do the engine over because it is smoking and using oil. A friend of mine has an l15a VTEC engine. I would like to know if I can use the cylinder head of the my L13A and stick it on the the l15a sub assembly. Id like to know if this would work and if the bore, stroke and block is the same to just swap it out. I don't want to install the whole engine because he doesn't have the loom and computer box of the l15a. It's also a low mileage engine and I thought it would be great and more cosy effective if I can just use his l15a block with internals.

I'm not 100% sure about swapping L13A head onto an L15A block. The bore and stroke are different, so might be tricky. The L13A has a smaller bore compared to L15A. Even if the block fits, the ECU and sensors might not align well.

Maybe better to look for a complete L13A replacement?

Good luck!
Greetings, Andrew 😉
