Honda released a press release talking about a Fit concept that should be displayed in tokyo.

If the styling stays like this, it's not a far cry from the current NA fits. Still looks rather nice though.

Honda Bringing Three New Concepts to Tokyo Salon

TOKYO — The Honda Fit Daily Active concept vehicle, complete with an "aroma diffuser" to add your personalized scent to the cabin as well as a portable entertainment system, will be one of three Honda concepts unveiled at the Tokyo Auto Salon, which runs January 12-14.

The Forza Smart two-seater concept scooter, which has an inter-communication and music system for passengers, and the Stream Hyper minivan will also be on display.

The Fit Daily Active has cameras and sensors fitted on the exterior to reduce blind spots. LED daytime running lights are affixed to the bumpers and lower skirts to provide increased visibility for other drivers. The cabin has a three-mode lighting system that allows passengers to set the mood.

The Forza is a 250cc scooter with the same portable entertainment system as the Fit Daily Active. The Stream Hyper is described as a medium-size minivan formed around a "sculpted by the wind" theme. Honda says this minivan "offers a glimpse of what 'premium' could mean in the near future." The interior is set up to feel like a lounge with leather lounge seats, 17-inch-wide screens and a high-end audio system.

Honda says the theme of the three concepts is "Be Cool, Be Chic."

I saw this coming a long time ago (late 2005-early 2006):

 

I got excited aboiut that news, but based on the limited pics, it's not that big of a deal. It's not drastically different enough.

 

There's no way that's a new model. Just some minor cosmetic changes.

 

Looking at this and the other thread with more photos. Its looks like it is a production fit with a bunch of new accessories. It looks to be on the same frame as the current Fit/Jazz. Im betting its more of a showcase of possiable new honda features rather than a difinitave answer to what will be the future of the Fit.

 

this subject has been thrown around quite alot in this forum...i say we all wiat and see when the FINAL redesigned Fit or whatever comes out...we cant keep ourselves in suspense...HONDA HELLO

I want to see the Forza scooter.... Screw all of the audio and smell good crap.

 

Honestly, It's got ugly exterior. It looks like the grill got sewed up by some futuristic alien species.

And those LED's oh my gosh, Are you sure this isn't just good photoshopping? with a really ugly design? haha

Inside rather have a comforting look however.
