New owner of a used Honda Fit
Hey yall, just got a fit today and was wondering what I should do to improve quality of life, with the car.
What type of mods should I go for as a senior in High school with the funds of a Chickfila worker (keep that in mind when suggesting!)
I am willing to work with this car as I just love the simple aspect to the car and its reliability, plus its kinda cute lol.
Id like to make it look a bit sportier and nicer to drive!
Any tips and tricks to save money or even just things i should be aware of I'd appreciate a ton from all you vets

Maintenance first. Replace all fluids and make sure all maintenance is up to date (spark plugs, valve adjustment...).
Then start to modify if you have any money left.
I would personally start with the rear swaybar.

Congratulations! Which one?
Mods? "improve quality of life with the car"? In my mind, those can be pretty opposite things. I mean, there's stuff on the Fit that could use some improvement. But a lot of the changes I see people make are not in the direction of making the car simpler or more reliable. Are the seats comfortable? Would yuo like some more power (Fits are not sports cars; there's al limit to what can reasonably be done)? Alloy wheels (if you don't already have them) and better tires can make the car more fun to drive but make sure they're good sizes for the car and where you drive (low-profile 17s even if they fit my car would be terrible on the frost-heaved roads around here).
I would suggest just driving it around for a while and seeing what about the car you would want to change.

I got the Automatic 2009 Sport!
I took it for a spin for my first time, but just a short run around the block since it doesn't have plates yet!!
but what I felt from it so far was great very responsive and sensitive!
Drive was fine but I did hear some squeaks while driving, as this is my first car I don't know where the noise was coming from.
I am going to get plates tomorrow so I'll you know what I think when I can really push it!
