Rear window seal

Noticed that rear windows were having a hard problem going up. Closer inspection revealed that the inside portion of the window seal had folded over and was crimped against the glass. Anybody else had this problem?

Yeah, I had a similar issue with one of my rear window moldings. Showed the dealer and they had to order a replacement part that took a week to get here. But it was a warranty replacement so no charge and now the window moldings look normal again. Definitely take it in.

Curious if anyone could take a picture of their rear door window seal area (inside), I was able to put the forward portion of the seal back into position, now I am just curious about where the rear porition should be. It looks to be low but both sides are the same and the dealer was unable to compare it to a new one since there were none on the lot. Windows seem to working fine, but I need to know if the seals should be replaced anyway. Any pics would be greatly appreciated!!

I do not have any pictures as I have not had this issue, but I would recommend having them replaced regardless. You might as well as it is under warranty. Better to act now than to have this grow into a bigger problem after your warranty expires...

Just my $0.02.

Dealer tried to tell me that my professional window tint was the reason for the problem. I called his boss and explained the situation as well as talked about others having the same problem without window tint.
They have agreed to do a one time "Honeymoon" fix such that I will not lose respect for Honda quality. Funny thing is the car was there because the alignment is totally out of wack (car has 5k miles)...

I called the tint place too and they said that if it happens again they will pay for the repair. Another interesting piece of info is that both window seals on the rear doors failed the same way and the fronts were fine..... Must have been that window tint (Total BS!!)
