This is the Fuel economy POLL !!!
please be truthful and catagories are average fuel economy over the life of the vehicle, dont give your highs and lows.
If you havn't recorded the average fuel economy then just give your best guess, so if you see 33mpg the most put it under the 30-33 mpg tab get it ??
This is going to be a much better tool than searching through the 40 something page long threads we have about this topic.

My wrecked fit averaged 35.5 the fit I drive now does less then 28
It just simply ask the average. Yes that will depend on your driving habits. We will never get an exact controled situation... The way I see it is that it will all average. You can add a high and a low then divide it by two or add all your totals then divide them by the number of mpg entries.

I've had my Fit just shy of a year and I've been keeping a notebook the whole time, including recording gas prices. It has about 24,500 on it now. I started seeing better fuel economy after the first 10,000 miles, so I focused on performance in the second half of the year to get the average -- between 30-33 mpg for the last 6 months. In the first few months of ownership I was disappointed, only getting about 27-29. Mix of highway and city for my daily commute. When I've done a couple of road trips with steady highway driving (using cruise control and having a passenger keeps me more conservative), I've done as well as 36-37 mpg.
if you take the mileage of the car over the fuel consumption so far then you have the average, you can't distinguish between city and hwy very well either unless you exclusively fill up right before and after on and off ramps respectively.
33 Mpg
I have an M/T Fit with around 1100 miles and currently getting an average of 33 MPG. The first tank I ran the car hard for 20 miles doing the "controversial" break-in method and then ran it under normal break in conditions. The second tank was under normal break in conditions with 95% city driving and I got 300 miles on 9 gallons of fuel. The third tank was mostly highway miles (with 90 minutes of stop-and-go traffic for 10 miles) of standard driving and I got just over 300 miles on 9 gallons of fuel. At my current fuel readings I will be around 280 miles on 9 gallons of fuel. But I think it is still a little early to be worried about what my MPG is, but I am keeping track of it.
Start two new threads, separating AT and MT, and I'll delete this thread. I'm new to modding..so I don't know if there's any better way o.O if there is with my power, tell me so I can do it. The problem is I won't know which votes are AT or MT within that.
And for CB19, I think it'd be too much to separte city and highway, because even tho people say 90% highway 10% city, it is only a rough estimate, and everyone has different ways of interpreting that. 90% of the TIME is driving highway, or 90% of the MILES, etc.

Drive safely
