holy crap, thats almost a 4k markup. I didnt realize dealers were still trying to rob people like that.

If so, where can I get one @ 13k?
I know it's a Base / MT, and I'm looking for a Sport / AT, but I can't locate a car in the Pacific NW for under MSRP.
Check Vehix.com if you want to see some outrageous prices (E-Bay too). Oh, I did see a couple of Sport / AT's @MSRP, but they are in IL..

 

The original post was in CANADIAN Dollars... our base MSRP in Canada is 14990CAD + PDI and Freight.

I'm assuming that this was a simple misunderstanding. I can't see Honda marking up the cars like that... I'm guessing that the Fit in the US starts at 12999US.

I'm surprised that they are that hard to find.... When I picked up my SSM 5MT at the end of March 07, the dealer I was at had a NHBP Sport 5MT and a AT. And about 5-6 LX/DX models...

 

oh, i clicked the link to the dealer and it is in oregon so I figured it was USD.

Here in NJ, even last april when they came out, every dealer I went to was at MSRP, none above.

 

Yeah that's odd. Area code 503 is Oregon.

If that is the case... that's straight up robbery!

I don't see how a dealership can mark up a car like that.. maybe it has a bunch of accessories added to it? or atleast I seriously hope it does!

A base fit sport here is 15,900 incl freight and pdi.

 

it's either a base or a sport model, not a base sport =P
