I just did a cars.com search on the Fit

And I am wowed at how much places in the state of Washington want for USED Fits.

Here is the link to my search - I asked for all fits within all miles of zip code 84047 (Utah).

Would you believe there are 6 listed for OVER $20,000!!!
There is also 6 listed for OVER $18,000!!!. Anybody wanta make some quick cash, drive your fit to Washington and sell it for a profit! (Of course then you would just have to buy another one when you got back home!)

This is AMAZING

It makes me happy to see this. Similarly, when we bought my wife's Scion Xb in '06, I did a cars.com search on used values for it. Two year old Xb's were selling for up to $2000. over the price of our brand new one.

I tried to find used Matrix or used xB for my brother -- $1K or $2K off MSRP is very very common. Dealers that charge over MSRP for a used vehicle... I don't know what these people with 3 year old vehicles are thinking.

Hahahaa, I bet these Fits are some of the few getting 15mpg. They were trade ins cause the previous owners KNEW something was wrong.
Hope no one buys those $22,000 gas guzzlers!

A friend of mine bought his wife a new Fit last summer and paid MRSP. They traded it in six months later for a larger car and it only cost them $700. Gasoline prices had dropped and she wanted a larger and more powerful car. Too bad, the price of gas has gone back up.

Last November.....I saw a Fit selling for $23K at a dealer.

It had tint, 17 inch wheels, and a few more things on it......plus $1,995 mark-up

Demand is still apparently very big here. It may seem odd but I see a Fit almost every day here in my town of 7500 people. There are at least 8 that I know of now. Lots of 'green' folks here who can't afford a Prius. (Don't get me wrong, there is a Prius on every block here!)
