Does anyone have any pictures of the two new color offerings for the Fit? Blackberry Pearl or Tidewater Blue?

 

that's exactly what i was going to post last night but i got lazy n forgot 2 post. I know that tidewater blue is even a more blue/silver shade then the now non-existent lunar mist metallic. It shines even more blue.

Pretty sure this is Tidewater Blue here though, still looking to find a match for the Blackberry.

 

DARN IT chickubi i KNEW u were gonna find the pix before me. lol. Great find tho i spent like 15 minutes looking and i totally forgot 2 check out the Honda of Japan website.

 

We aim to please. Nice colors though; haven't seen a purple car come out since the early '90s, kinda refreshing. Wonder if metallic teal is gonna make a comeback soon as well?

 

Wow...I'm glad I went ahead and jumped on my White Fit. I'd considered waiting, thinking I might like one of the new colors as much or more than the white.

But I still love my TW, I actually plan on changing it to CW (Champ White).

 

Yikes, that tidewater blue reminds me of Tidy Bowl. Glad I have the slightly more subtle lunar mist!

 

Wish I could afford another one, I'd buy my wife the Tidewater Blue, since her nickname is "Baby Blue".

I'd have to try and get her a personalized tag to say BBY BLU or somethin'. It's probably already taken, though, so maybe TIDY BWL is available!

 

I cant wait to see that purlpeish one on the road. I think in the sun light it will look pretty nice, but it could go either way with a purple color.

 

The purple colored cartoon car looks nothing like the Blackberry Pearl color in the 2008 brochure.

 

Those colors don't look right. I picked up an 08 brochure today and the two new colors look like a deep blue metallic and a light blue metallic not like in the pics you got here. Again this is the way they look in the brochures.

 

oh MAN how i wish honda would bring back Tahitian Green Pearl. I had it on my EG hatch and i loved that color. Not my hatch but was the same color.

 

Would you scan it for the rest of us forum members who are "out of the loop"?

Well, I haven't seen the '08 brochure yet, but so far every color released here or in Canada has been a stock color in the JDM product line. We've already got a deep blue metallic now, and blackberries are purple, so that pretty much leaves only the color above. As for the lighter blue, the JDM line-up only has two, and one is being used as Lunar Mist Metallic here already, so that also only leaves the color above. Of course, it's entirely possible we're getting NA-only colors, which is fine, but based on last year's line-up, I kinda doubt it.

For what it's worth, the purple is a lot darker in person and in other photos from the JDM Fit catalog, so that might account for the difference. No matter what, we'll just have to wait for the actual cars to show up to know for certain.

 

That's the ticket right there, and not just Civic's, but Escort's, Beretta's, Eclipse's, Festiva's, etc. It was like a metallic teal explosion. Good color though, got a lot of attention when it first came out.
