totally go with the blackberry pearl. i still love my baby, but that color sure is tempting

 

im scared cause i FEAR black.. its hot and swirly marks and HOT!! and FADE :O

 

i was talking to my dad the other day about the paint fading (he's a HUGE car guy). i have a MR, so i was kind of scared initially about it fading to pinkish-red someday. he said that current paints and clearcoats have improved vastly over how they were when he started working on cars, so fading isn't really a huge issue like it used to be.

of course, i would like to trust that, but seeing as honda didn't get the paint right on the fit, what with the majority of them peeling and whatnot (mine included), i can see why you'd be concerned.

Blackberry Pearl looks more blue/purple than black. But dizzamn that's hot color. I want that for my NSX project.

EDIT: Just noticed. Hope you guys with your Taffy white's enjoy them because it doesn't appear to be offered anymore. Must mean your car's uber-rare now

Damn now i'm thinking of getting some Blackberry Pearl headlights for my fit. Looks black at some angles but keeps that suttle blue color. =]

Aye, been there done that. Black is a very sexy color IMO, but after a while it got old. It sucks up heat in the sun and cooks as well as being high maintenance. Your buddy can sneeze two blocks away and you'd have to wipe or wash the car. But if you are willing to put up with that, then more power to you. That lasted about 6 months for me then i was done and pretty much decided I wuld never own another black car. Today my NSX is Red, my Montero is White, and my Fit is Blue. And no i did not get red white and blue cars on purpose to be patriotic!

 

How come on the Honda web site when you build a Fit, all of them have the Sport Exhaust?

Honda should put what changes are new to the 2008 on the front page to advertise there are some changes even if it is minor.

 

Yea looks like there is a slight price increase. The base went up around $100 and the sport much less.
