One step closer to own a Fit!
I took my wife to a dealer to test drive the MT Fit. Both my wife and I drive MT so we didn't bother to try the AT.
My wife is impressed (she likes bigger car) by the handling and the "high seat/vision" of the Fit. My last Fit (or Jazz) was a 1985 Honda Jazz - I still miss that beverages cooler on the passenger dash (for those of you experienced that before!). Anyhow, after 22 years, I am still impressed by the Fit. However, we both do realize the "power" is lot different than the V6 cars we drive daily so it might take some time to get used to it - no big deal. She is also surprised at low mileage/gallon number considering the power feel she had.
When I check the deal log, it looks like the prod. line already started with 08. Whatever remain on the lot is the last batch of the 07. I was ready to put down the deposit but the dealer refuse to sell @ MSRP for 08. He said he can do it on a 07 but not for an 08. I told him I will check with him later and walk out.

If you left your phone number, they should call you back the next day... some really do try to squeeze that last penny.
I told my dealer the same thing... you can really sell it for more than MSRP? Then I suggest you tell me to get lost. Else sell me the car for MSRP. I started signing papers 5 minutes later... (I bought '07 when it hit the lot.)
