The Fit has a weird shaped floor for the driver and front passenger, so the Honda OEM all-weather mats are the best fitting at the moment.

I thought it was strange that the carpeted mats were not included in the price of the car. When I bought my 07 civic it came with carpeted mats included.

The cheapest stock floor mats your going to find are on Genuine Honda Accessories, News, and Information from College Hills Honda. They are the cheapest for going with anything factory and are very easy to deal with. The price breakdown for carpeted is 70.80 compared to most dealerships that charge 99.00 and the all season are 82.80 compared to 109.00. Good luck with your new ride.

do you have to drill holes for the mat or do they pretty much stay in place?

I'm still waiting for mine. I assume they just stay in place....unless they're the type that just float away in the middle of the nite.
