Question Best place to buy Fit accessories online for Canadians?

With the dollar no longer being an issue, I'm just interested in any places that people have found to be Canadian friendly when ordering. Or any places to avoid that haven't been Canadian friendly.

I'm after the cargo cover and tray, maybe the all-weather mats.

Thanks!!

I dont know of any Canadian ones off hand...but this one from the US has pretty good prices:

Honda Fit Accessories - Genuine Factory Honda Accessories, made by Honda for your Honda.

Bernardi will be shipping up here soon. I'd wait on them.

^Thanks, I'd looked at College Hills, but since they won't even give a rough idea of potential shipping to Canada, I hadn't committed. How were their shipping rates, reasonably okay? I've found an ebay seller from which I can get my three items for $330 all in, collegehills is at $270 before shipping. Plus with collegehills I could get the Fit mug...

Bernardi doesn't mention when for Canada, and I'd really like to get the cargo cover and tray now - the nature of my work at the moment requires leaving things in my car in case I need them (I work at a number of locations), so the sooner the better.

Thanks so far, everyone!

Hi Azlynn what part of canada are you from?? I see you have the mysterious purple fit!

I live in Canada and have had to jump through many hoops to get parts up here as well. The best bet for the Cargo Tray is to just bite the bullet and get it through the dealership you bought the car from. When you buy accessories from the dealership that sold you the car they usually will give you a hefty discount on accessories. I think I paid about $160 for the Cargo Tray. I ordered the Cargo Cover from zeta products, but honestly for $90 the quality isn't the best. I've compared it to the Honda OEM one, and the Honda one is much better quality but then you have to pay about 2-3x as much lol.

I've ordered parts through Bernardi before, but had to ship them to a PO Box just across the border, because they only ship to the USA, I then had to go pick the stuff up and pay GST on it

You can also call like 3-4 local dealership and see if they will beat each others prices on accessories as well, sometimes you get a nice parts manager who will give u a nice deal, I've had it happen before.

I'm also in BC, on the island. I think I may have the only purple Fit around here, lol.

My dealership wasn't feeling particularly generous for dealing in accessories, would only do 10% off. And even when you put that on, for example, $60+ difference between there and buying somewhere like collegehills, which is selling actual honda parts. Thanks for the heads-up on avoiding non-Honda parts, I'd seen that cover somewhere and wondered. The difference between my dealer price and somewhere like collegehills on the cover... $140. Even with shipping, duty, what have you, it's a $200-300+ difference for just the three items I'm after.

We get hosed on the Canadian price, I want to avoid it on the accessories.

Hi there ... I'm from the Island as well. I bought my Fit last February and decided to order cargo mat and cover from College Hills Honda in the summer ... they were great ... $50 CAD for shipping ... and took only about 2 weeks ... but ... the items were delivered via UPS which I think means that a "broker" was involved ... so when the guy showed up at my door with the goods I had to pay another $80 CAD (brokerage fee + GST/PST) ... I wasn't expecting that! Still saved some money but not as much as I would have liked! If you can get a place to ship via USPS you might avoid the "brokerage" experience I had ...

Hm, thanks for the warning! I was expecting duty/tax, but not expecting brokerage fees.

Just to let anyone else know who may have been curious, I haven't had any luck finding either a decent online seller located in Canada, or someone who ships using anything other than UPS.

I got them to ship mine USPS saved on brokerage fees, but had to go to my local post office to pick the items up and pay taxes on it.

^How recently was this? Their site only says that they ship to us via UPS. I'm anti-UPS as I'm not home during the day and they farm out to a smaller and very unreliable company around here.

I checked with them, they won't ship using USPS, only UPS.

The search continues...

Let me find out which dealership I have ordered my items from. With the exchange rate, I saved over 100 on the all season mat and cargo cover than what I would normally pay at local dealerships, even with the tax and custom fee.

Those prices are ridiculous. Over 600 for the HFP muffler LOL, and 1400 for hfp rims? lol those rims are 106 each at college hills, and shipping 4 to canada is only 140
