I'm the New Guy!!

Hey all. I don't actually have a Fit at the moment but I'm interested in one in the future. Waiting for a new job or a promotion at my current place of employment.

I currently drive a 2007 Scion Tc in which I have big plans for and once thats done or underway I'm gonna need another car to get me around when it's in the shop (or if I'm afraid of the popo getting me at every turn) not to mention I don't know if I would really want to drive a turbo Tc down the street to go through the drive-thru and back lol.

Anyway just wanted to say hi and introduce myself and hopefully I'll be joining all of you in owning a Honda Fit as well

Lowered on TRD springs. Hopefully you'll see a turbo under that hood soon! Oh and sorry for the large pics. I keep forgetting to reset the resolution on my camera lol

I just don't wanna deal with some cop asking me "did you know that wasn't legal in the state of CA and blah blah blah" just cause I have fun with my car. Main thing is though the gas mileage and such is already getting to me with what little I have done to the car.

I also wanna do a tranny swap (i'm gonna get flamed for this I know it lol) from Auto -> manual then go turbo so yeah..big plans..but if the car is in the shop I need something to drive since my family has one car per person and we all need them.

Anyway I'm here to learn more about the Fit and what people like/dislike and what people have done to them as well =) BTW if I got a fit I would def get the sport 5spd!

ok, here's my insight on the fit:

-you'll love it
-you'll find different slots for different things
-Personally, i have slots for business cards, gum, windex, hot wheels and my harmonica
-i'm looking to find a slot for candy though
-you seem like the tinkering type person, you'll never be bored with the fit
-you'll have plenty of head room, but not enough leg room

cons:

-the sport rims get dirty, but you'll probably be replacing those... eh? ("Fargo" quote)
-When you're driving up a hill, you'll wish you were in your scion

the list goes on, mostly for the good things. but if your like me, you'll be really glad the fit has a place to put your harmonica and hot wheels.

just don't get the white fit!

Welcome! The TC looks great but you'll love the Fit when you get into one. Have you taken one for a test drive yet?

I really like that magnetic grey color on the tC. I admire you Emperor becuase contrary to what some people believe on the internet, you can love two cars from different manufacturers. I wish I could get a Fit, but all my friends hate it becuase it's a small car (comfort, safety issues). I need to quit hanging out with fat people .\/.

"fat" people always seem surprised once they get into a small car. they would probably be more comfortable in a fit than they would in a suburban or whatev

Thanks for the compliments on my ride everyone!

I went to a local honda dealer before work to try and test drive a Fit but all the sales people were either busy or not around(?) so I didn't get a chance..mainly because I had to head to work but maybe next time I'll give it a shot.

Again: It'll be awhile before I can get one but it's definitely at the top of my list!
