The winner of the 2007-2008 Japan Car of the Year has just been announced, and it is the new Fit. The Fit beat out Mercedes-Benz C-Class (runner-up) and the Subaru Impreza (third place).

This is the second time the Fit has won the coveted JCOTY, and the first-gen Fit was one of the rare cases in which a JCOTY winner did actually succeed commercially.

Looks like the new Fit will pick up where the old one left off. As soon as the traffic dies down I would like to compare the Japanese winner and contenders to the cars Motor Trend choose.

 

Allways know that Motor Trend always picks the 1, 2, abd 3 car determined who made the best offer by way of advertising.
