Snow chains for fit....

I live in Denver and will be driving to NY for the holidays. Can anyone
recommend good snow chains? I should have them in the car living in
CO anyway.

I thought I read here that Honda recommends against using snow chains on our cars?

True,,,I signed a paper stateing that chains are not recommended on the Fit when I bought it. It's Honda's way of getting them off the hook when you tear your fender off with a set of big chains. If you get a small set that fit VERY well with no slop or maybe even go with cables you may be alright,,,

Why not just get a good set of winter tires, studded if you really need it?

Snow tires are not a waste of money. Chains are.
