I took my mugens to several shops and they all said there is no 100% they can't scratch or mess them up. So I found a place that had a touchless (gattos here in florida) and never had one issue.

Took my wifes santa fe to tire kingdom and they messed up a wheel. I complained (didnt see until we got home) they said they wouldn't do anything because its standard to get some nicks and such when doing wheels. I pointed out several normal issues and that this wasn't. I told them if they didnt fix it I would just call their boss.

They went from denying to almost implying the damage was there before to saying they would send the wheel off to get resurfaced to finally just buying her a new wheel. (their cost on wheels are low but they wont tell u that) The main issue was the new wheel had a brighter finish and it stuck out. Either way they did the right thing but it took a lot of work and fussing with people. I hate doing that but we got it done. Be consistant and argue with them and if they refuse, ask to get their boss's number, if they refuse call and find out. If its a small chain, file a claim. If you stick with it you can get something out of it for the most part. I mean hell if someone sued Mcdonalds for their coffee being hot....

g'luck

YEAMANS,
I have purchased several hondas from Jay Wolfe Honda but have never been to the Acura dealer. I probably should have gone to a dealer but I ordered the tires on line and just had them mounted at the store I bought them from.
I am heading over to the store now. We will see what they say....

Good news. I took the wheels back to the shop on Thursday and the manager took pictures of the wheels. On Friday I received a call from their insurance company and the Lady tells me they will put a check in the mail Monday for the full price of the wheels.
I was really happy the way they took care of this so quickly. The crazy thing is I dont think they even want the wheels back!!
