I took a vacation day on Friday from work to finish up Christmas shopping at the mall. On the way there I passed the Silver Fit that I test drove in March of this year. I honked and the lady waved. She was really nice to let my cousin look at her car and showed her the interior. They saw it parked at Krogers and she was happy to show them the car. This was before I got my own. Then as we were walking into the mall there was a MR Sport going down the exit ramp. That was cool to actually see another MR Fit on the road. I guess since I only travel a short distance to work and back, I just did not realize how many Fits were out there. Wish they would all join this forum.

I was expecting a parody of the 2 girls 1 cup video. I didn't know people other than Jeep owners did that honking/waving thing.....I'm gonna have to try that to the next current model Camry owner I see.

Seriously though, it's weird though isn't it. Before I bought mine (I had been looking at them for over a year) I think I saw a total of 3. Ironically enough, the day I bought mine I saw 3 of the same color on the way home from the dealership!

 

Especially living in West Virginia. I and the OP Live in Wv where there are wayyy too many Ford and Chevy preachers. Seriously you can be like yelled at for not driving an American car.

I once saw 3 fits in one day too. A red one parked and two silver ones within 2 miles of each other on he interstate.

i set my fit-spotting record the other day on the way to chicago and back ( i saw 8!!!!!)

though i was also also purposely looking for them because it annoys the crap out of my bf who was driving

I've had mine for 15 days, and I've only seen one other on the road (not counting my coworker's Fit, which he's had for about 4 months)... and it was VBP, same as mine. I looked over and waved, but the girl driving it didn't look over at me. Oh well, next time.

I see crazy amounts of Fits near my work and they are all driven by Q-Tips. It makes me mad and I am not sure why.

 

Q-tips? is it like an advertisement or is qtip slang for something? Sorry for my incompetence.

i see about one or two a day only because my neighbors also have a fit. But on the everyday roads. rarely do i ever see another fit and it sucks cuz they never wave back if i do see one=[

 

No worries. Q-Tips refers to older folks with white hair because their head looks like a cotton swab tip when you are behind them.

Went to my little granddaughter's 5th birthday party at my daughter's apartment a couple of weeks ago, and parked alongside two other Fits. They were backed-in next to each other, so naturally I backed in, too. One was black, one was red, mine is blue. All were Sport Automatics.

Mine looked the best cuz it was the cleanest (that day). Plus, mine was the only one of the three with tinted windows.

I was hoping they would take notice and read the FitFreak.net decals on the side windows, but I never saw them.

Friday at Sears, I was outside smoking next to my car, and a pretty Asian girl drove up in a BOM Sport. She might have driven it right from the factory in Suzuka, but it didn't really look like it had been driven through the ocean. Probably just a coincidence.
