Which % are you guys using as far as window tint?

Im thinking 25% for the rear windows... illegal to do in the front.
let me know what worked for you.

thanks. i didnt do the fronts (dont feel like getting pulled over)
but did 20% on the rear. turned out real nice. picts to follow later on
in the day.

will see how it dries in about a week and if i can recommend this shop
i will post the name/contact info. but the service was top notch,
quality looks very good so far. (and as you might know about me
from other forums, i am pretty picky and loud).

to apply tint ?

no. they can tuck the bottoms into the rubber seals without
removing the doors.

yep, will give the tint some time to dry and see. they do offer
life time guarantee so should be good. they did the window tint
for Wrigley's sky boxes...along with hundreds of cars the past
25yrs.

I just had my rear 4 redone to 20%.

Freakin' dealership sent it out and had it done at 35% over all... I said I wanted it as BLACK as was legal. sigh.

But, Ziebart was good to their word and fixed it right up - peeled the 35% off the back 4 and applied 20% for free.

It looks GOOD! IMO

I'm a happy Freak now!

i think anywhere from 25% to 20% all around except front would look pretty good. anything else seems to light or to illegal

20% all around except windshield, windshield to be done later probably around 35%.

legal here is max 35% all around and the little 6" strip at the top of the windshield. no problems yet.

5% in the back and 20% in the front. i think im going to rip off the 20% and make it 5% all around though. if i get busted, it will only happen if the cops a dick and makes me row my front two windows up. im always cruising with my front two windows down so i could careless.

i did 5% on the hatch, 20% on the sides and then a 5% strip across the front but started to get harassed at late night check points so i went with 20% on all the rears (including the hatch) and 35% on the driver and passenger doors. i also took my banner off and re did it in 20% but only came down about 6 inches instead of the 10 or 11 inches that it was in the first place and my triangles are 20% now aswell. it was easier to change the tint to legal then to change my plates to wisconsin and get rid of the north carolina inspection sticker. haha. i have my beater buick down here in NC and it has 5% all the way around including most of the windshield but with the wisconsin plates i dont get harassed. too bad i cant see at night in the damn thing. haha.

prb- lookin' good. i too would prefer to do F35% and R20%, but it's not
worth getting pulled over for. ive been pulled over waaay too many
times for tinted windows in the past in IL. and add another 5-6 times
for not having my front plates on. forget it. i dont have time for that
shit any more.
