Is this a good price on an '08 Fit?
I am buying my Wife an '08 VBP Fit Sport AT. The best I have been able to get on the price from the dealership is $16,322 before ttl. And $17,426.92 after.
My question is, what are most people paying for the Sport AT? Is this a good price?

I paid 15,254.00 for my vbp sport mt. from a friend who's the fleet sales mgr. So add whatever they charge for automatic trans. and you should be close to the lowest price your going to get depends on the market demand also in your area. Good luck.

tks for the comment. Don't know how good your credit is but if if you have a high credit limit on your credit cards it wouln't be a bad idea using a 0% or .99% offer and paying it off. then when the offer is close to expiring just transfer the balance to another card with similar rate. Just be careful to never pay late cause they'll jack up the rate.

That seems to be the most common promotion right now on the Fit - $100 over invoice as long as it is in stock. I got my Sport automatic the same way.

Thanks for all the helpful info guys.
We picked up her '08 VBP Sport yesterday. I was going to go with the Base model, and buy all the stuff that the Sport has later. But I got the guy down to within $1000 of the Sport Model, so I went on and got that since they had it in stock. We agreed on the price and the monthly payment, then, to seal the deal, I called him and told him I would sign today if he took $250 off my down payment, and kept everything the same (this way there was no way for them to put the 250 back in there somewhere ) He took about 20 min to talk to his manager, then called me back and said to come pick it up.
So, after haggling a little more, then my final $250 off, I got the car for $15,900 before ttl. About 17,000 after ttl. We owed on her mustang that she had before, and they did not give us much for trade in, I still had to put an additional 2500 on top of that. After that, I walked out for $19,581. Wish I could have sold her car to a private party
