did you get the color which was your first choice or did you go for your second choice because the first choice was unavailable at the time of your purchase?

mine's storm silver and it was my first choice.

my second choice was black, but i was willing to wait a month if the silver
was not available.

 

white was only an option for 2007 in the us, and dropped for 08 - i always said i would get a white car next but black was my second choice.. i never asked about the other fits they had in stock i just said SPORT!!!

 

i wanted SSM since the first time i saw a fit. so i got a SSM one.

 

i have to say...white was definently the first choice, and then black. but i was really torn apart from the two in the beginning

 

I did not pick my Fit color - it picked me. I had been waiting for almost two months for my VBP to arrive in mid-May. When I still hadn't heard from my salesman - I stopped in to check on the status. They had gotten two Fits in no VBP only a base Lunar Mist and a MR Sport. Both had been sold almost as soon as they came off the transport. On Saturday I was running errands and went by the dealership to see the MR Sport parked beside the sales offices. I decided to stop and just look at it and a salesman came out and asked if I liked the car. I said yes but I knew it had been sold already. He said no it fell through - so I asked if my salesman was working and he went to get him for me. Lee just laughed when he saw me and said that the deal had fallen through on Friday and he only had my work number so he had no way to reach me. He had hoped that I would see the car and stop by which I did. He told me he knew it wasn't the color I wanted but I just fell in love with the MR when I saw it in person and by Tuesday I was driving my Fit. I am glad I decided not to wait for the VBP- because this MR has really been fun.

My last car was NHBP and It was 3 kinds of sexy!

I have to admit that I absolutely love all the colors that I have seen the USDM Fits in. Wish we had more colors though, some great colors can be had in other countries... no BRG (British Racing Green, atleast I dont think so)

It was a pain to get the NHBP and when I did It was so nasty it looked like desert beige... and for Honda (I thought that and White was the most basic color... but they were hard to find....)

Anywho.... MY CAR LOOKS DAMN GOOD IN BLACK!!!
just have to throw on those JDM tails...


In the accessories brochure the "Tide Water Metalic" base fit with all the fixins looks uber HOT!

If TW was available for the '08's it would have been my first choice.

Awaiting a Taffeta White Sport MT! Should be here in March.

 

I wanted either SSM or BOM, the orange was available so I took it. Mostly SSM's around here anyway.

 

I didn't get the color I intended to get, but not because they didn't have it in stock. I wanted the Blaze Orange Metallic, but when I got to the dealership to look at it, I saw the Vivid Blue Pearl car and just knew I had to get that instead.

Too bad I had to pay extra to have them ship one in from another dealership in NC, since it was the closest VBP Fit Sport 5MT.

 

i originally went to my dealer with the intent to get a base VBP which they'd have to order, and i was going to settle for nothing less. when i talked to my salesman he said i should at least come in and test drive one, since about a year ago fits available for a test-drive were next to impossible to find.

they had a sport MR and a TW and i got to test drive the MR and as soon as i saw it fell absolutely in love. i never pictured myself with a red car, but it's become my baby

 

It would also good for this poll to list how common each of the colors are, meaning some people got certain colors because it was the only thing available.

As for me, BOM FTW!

 

I would vote for Black Amethyst Pearl, but that was no option in this poll..

That was the color I got, but I actually wanted a Nighthawk Black Pearl colored car when I first ordered it. But that car was 4 month delayed (had already waited 3 month) so I desided to go for the only BAP colored Jazz that ever had arrived to Norway...
I did not know that color existed when I was ordering my car, and if I had to choose again now it would be BAP for sure
