Yeah. Let me confirm everything:

MX6GT89, your MT mount looks different then my AT mount.

The swiveling piece is some sort of "extra bumper" for harsh driving. Mine swivels 180 degrees w/o any force, it just wiggles like crazy so i know that's one of the problems. Mine is also chewed up because that is the only thing stopping my engine from making that obnoxious noise.

I have tested it many times, my engine mount is bad. If i move that extra bumper thing straight up and drive the car, i hear that rubbing sound and feel the car is sluggish. When i put it back to the 9'oclock position, it doesn't do it anymore.

Also, my mount is torn inside the cylinder part of the mount (from the center pin), it's not only that extra bumper. I'm going to be getting my new mount in this week and i'm going to take the old mount and do the polyurethane DIY engine mount. I'll have pix and a writeup soon after. =]

Great time for the urethane mount, I just hate how you feel a crazy vibration at idle.
