same deal happened to me

I've had the same issue happen to me, twice now. First time I thought it was a fluke, but now it happened again this morning. Clock didn't reset, and I didn't hit any other buttons that I know of. Odd, but I'm keeping an eye on it. Although I did whack the dash due to a few new rattles coming from the passenger side area. Maybe the Fit got pissed I smacked her and is taking its revenge.

I am too spooked to put presets on now (I believe it has happened twice to me too) ....but I will today and see if it again does this.

If it does then I will take it in to get it checked out along with a million other little idiosyncratic deallybobs that I the tormented have noticed on my OCD bastardly jaunts with this car.

keep me posted doogiefish if you can with any new developments should they arise. ...and of course I will do the same.

Will do, I'll let you know of any updates if it occurs again. My dealer is about 45 min drive away and it would be a pain to have to drop it off for a day, so I'll give it time to see if it keeps occurring with any frequency. Lets hope not.

I've had this happen TWICE.

I assigned all my presets to match my Tacoma's presets.

And then POOF!

They disappear!
AM/FM1/FM2 - 'junk' presets from hell!

I'm going to call the stealership and see what they say... I'll let you know if I find a fix.

Has anybody else found a fix, if not - HOW MANY times has your radio visited the twilight zone?

Once, when I was a little younger, I bought a Plymouth Horizon from a high school band director. Got a very good deal on a very boring car; even the color was tan. Had a luggage rack on top, and was just way less cool than I thought I was at the time. I was driving around on the way home that night from buying it, and was thinking I was glad to have found such a great deal, but also wishing I had been able to get a cooler car.

Suddenly, and without my touching any of the buttons, the radio changed stations on its own. A song was playing that I had never heard before.
I swear this is true: Out of the speakers came Right Said Fred, singing, "I'm too sexy for my car, too sexy for my car, too sexy by far..."

Now THAT was a sign.

Totally, 100% true.
