Today was the first time since July when I bought the vehicle that I actually reached 34MPG....how much did I have left?
After filling the tank the gas meter at the pump said i filled up with 9.38 gallons....how much was left?

 

the tank is 10.8 gal so ummm...yeah...

hey, wait... lemme help! i know this one! it's um 10.8 um minus 9.3 and it equals um 1.5? maybe 1.4? idk. i suck at math.

 

340.5/9.38=36.3

miles per gallon=miles (340.5) per (/) gallon (9.38)

36.3>34

 

so I could have actually done another 30 miles with the needle where it is???? thats kinda hard to believe...I've never pushed it farther than that.

 

how do you reset the trip A button.... i know its a no0b question

 

You reset it by pushing and holding the little knob next to you speedometer. You want to reset Trip A: push the button until Trip A appears and then push again and hold. Same with trip B ;-)
I found out that you can easily get another .5 to 1 gallon into the tank after the fuel pump has stopped - I work at Honda and it's the same for all the cars. Just pull out the nozzle a little bit and fill up to the brim. Just be careful in hot weather, the fuel will expand.

 

nice mileage. The best i pulled off was 31 mpg last summer =[. I gotta fix my lead foot, even if the Fit doesnt move much in wot lol.
