New 08 Fit Sport Manual Owner

Just want to chime in and say hello to the community. I just picked up the above mentioned fit today.
My wife and 2 year old son were with me to make the purchase and take her home. Funny thing however, before I even had the chance to drive her off, I smell something funny. Nothing about the car, just that all too familiar smell every parent of a young child knows. My son needed to be changed right there at the dealers lot. So we put the Fit to the test. I folded the larger of the two rear seats down, placed my son in the now expanded cargo and changed his #2. All the leg and head room in needed. No drip, runs or errors. This was one of the reasons why we made this purchase. There are others as well.
Hope to be able to add to the community.
Still has that new car smell.

Yes, that "new car smell" is much better than that other one

Congratulations on your purchase. Aren't you glad you got the Fit for a change?

That's perfectly ok, just as long as we don't have to pamper him.

Thanks for the welcome folks. Sorry no pics (of car), but it does look like every other Silver Storm Fit Sport here.
BTW, first thing I did was to order new tires. Specifically, Micheline Exaltos in OE size. I've read bad reviews on the OE Dunlops on the TireRack reviews. Needed a sold all season and the Exaltos were rated quite high. Along with the price, but I think it maybe safer in the long run so I can change many diaper to come.
PS, I also like the strong and deep sounding horn. Not the usual whimpy beep beep in so many Japanese cars (at least in the past).

car as far as handling. good choice!
