I tried to log in but the firewall at work blocked it and it couldnt connect. Oh well. I tried. It looks pretty cool and i love the idea. Is this something we can possibly get added to fitfreak all the time? Or atleast something like it.

 

Sure... I have the server channel up all the time... so if the admin's, etc want to add a link to it, we can do it. Can even setup a host in the fitfreak DNS to point to it if wanted.

 

Hey Tyler can you talk to Admin and see if they will let us do it? Or atleast come up with a way so we can have a live chat? That would be an awesome feature for the site imo.

Another problem with these IM type deals is, they take posts away from the forum. Who wants to post on the forum if we have a huge chat going in real time with people who can answer you on the spot.

Tool - trust me, it wont "take away" from the forum. I've run a LARGE forum and IRC channel for almost 10 yrs. It doesn't affect the forum in a negative way.

Its just an idea. It doesnt have to be that site exactly. I know that there are easier IM rooms to operate out there. It would bring down on the posts if it actually caught on but you cant really type anything huge and you make it so its a different window then the actual fitfreak page so you can do both at the same time. Haha. Thats when us computer geeks will prevail
