Seat Covers

I'm coming out of a car with leather seating and now noticing how easy the cloth Fit seats get dirty with stuff. I'm considering putting seat covers on the front two seats in my Fit.

I also like the idea of preserving the seats.

Any suggestions or experience. I'd like to get a well made one and not a sheep skin deal.

thanks

You could always get the mugen ones from king if you want to shell out about $800 bucks haha. otherwise i would say that any seat cover would work just fine. I dont use covers but i do clean mine, depending if they are dirty or not, every other week. I dont like seat covers tho cause all my experiences with them, mostly cheapies, they like to move around when im driving. If you get good ones i would expect that they wouldnt move like the cheapies do. Good luck and let us know what you decide.

mine is also a dd and gets salt and grime from normal use.

i use Griot's Interior Cleaner to clean any dirt and also a
hard nylon brush to get the lint and other stuff that gets
kinda embeded into the cloth surface (seats and carpeting).

im looking forward to detailing the interior as soon as this
winter crap weather passes.

Thanks for the input.

I have a few questions. I went to the site and noticed what you bought is $274 for just the front seats. Are they that good? The buckets have some major angles for the side bolsters and was interested how they do that ie does it follow the seating are contours well or sit up above the seat in the back area? Did you also order the rear seats?

Any chance of some pictures??

i am pleased with them. i bought front and rear. the wet okole ones are the same price. unfortunately they did not have pics of them on their website and i had seen the coverking ones on another fitfreaker's car so i went with them. the wet okole ones have the option to put piping around the edges which i thought would be hot.

fits like a glove. i'll try to put up a cell phone pic or 2 but it probably wont do them justice.

Wow leonine thats a pretty sweet interior. Alot of blue but i like it. Those seat covers look pretty decent too. Do they cover the airbags on the front seats?

There is a flap that covers it but if the airbag deploys it will move out of the way.

holy crap that's a lot of blue!!!!!

i like it a lot curious as to if you get sick of having that much of one color at all? i'd love to get those seat covers in red but i think it would be too much in red.

Costco?

Aren't those covers the ones you can get through Costco? I like those, too. If I recall correctly, they also come in solid colors, right? Buy me some, OK?

WOW Leonine,
That's sweet looking.

Did you buy them to protect the original seats?

Could not help but notice you scan-gauge. I ordered mine last week and can't wait to mess with that.
What's that other pod thing under the dash near your left knee?

Thanks again

I was looking at some very "inexpensive " ones at Costco last weekend. I did not like the thin foam padding and was thinking that would fall apart in shot time. Did you but a set yet?
